departed

honey..that day you were in my arms..
too close, yet too far away..
tried enough to get into your mind...
instead, my colours turned to gray..

alone

i stand alone
with my broken dreams,
dried out streams of tears...
and with silent screams...

সারথি...

সবটুকু সুখ আজ নির্বাসনে...
ক্লান্তি হল সাথি...
নিঃসঙ্গতা বুকে নিয়ে...
আমি যে দুখের সারথি..

Tell Me Your Dreams: Being A Boy Doesn't Mean He Is Out Of It

I was trying to write something…try to say…trying to make you people know about the things that are smothering me round the clock…
What do you think? Being a boy saves from abuses?
Nah...
I lost two of my school buddies... One left the school, another left the world.
Every year, so many kids leave boarding schools. Parents don’t pay heed to them, just scold them, force them to get back, blackmails them. I have seen boys… who’ve been abused by teachers, relatives of both sexes, seniors and the list goes on. When I was in high school, I saw my seniors were beating an Uncle as he was abusing a boy while they both were standing on a queue in cash counter.
From my High School Days I was concerned about this kind of things; for which I am thankful to my parents. I used to talk to my classmates who acted like hermits. And in most of the cases I’ve found that they were being abused by people who are trusted by their family.
I don’t know where to begin or where to end.
I’m begging you all…. Please be aware of child abusing.

waqt beet jaayega...

dheere dheere iss waqt...
gujar jaane do jara..
dil se thodi khun..
beh jaane do jara..
aati huyi khusi ki pal..
muskurahaat ki gulab jab layega..
uss ki rang me apna khun ki rang..
wapas mil jaaye ga..

waqt beet jayega ahista ahista..
khusi ke pal..dagmagayega....ahista ahista..
bure pal ki yaad rahega kuch jyada der tak..
phir woh yaad vi meet jayega...ahista ahista...

Teachings of Ramadan

Muslims follow Islam (submission to God) and Muslim Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar, the month of fasting during the daylight. During Ramadan Muslims boycott themselves from Drinks, food, smoking & sexual activities during the daytime.
The teachings of Ramadan are:
• Through fasting, Muslims learn to control their natural urges such as hunger, thirst and the desire to smoke and thus are able to better resist temptations for things which are not necessary, such as excessive food intake, drugs or other unhealthy or harmful substances and behaviors.
• It allows one to build a sense of self-control and will-power.
• It helps one to feel compassion for those who are less fortunate and underprivileged, since each day one will feel greater appreciation for what he/she has as a result of feeling hunger and thirst.
• It offers a time for Muslims to "purify" their bodies as well as their souls, by developing a greater sense of humility, spirituality and community.
• Ramadan is a very spiritual time for Muslims, and often they share their experience with their friends and family members.
• A greater sense of generosity and forgiveness is also characteristic of this time.
• Giving to the poor and needy and sharing one's fortune with them is expected during this month and encouraged for the rest of the year.

As with other duties in Islam, fasting becomes obligatory (i.e. one becomes accountable) after the age of puberty.
