এমন শহরে বাস করি আমি
যেখানে পথশিশুদের খেলনা
মায়ের সতীত্ব বিলোপের সাক্ষী বেলুন...
যেখানে কাক বাসা বাঁধে পলিথিন আর পি.ভি.সি পাইপ দিয়ে
যেখানে আকাশ আটকা পরে আছে পিকচার টিউবে...
যেখানে স্রোতের দেখা মেলে
শুধু বেসিনে...নালাতেও নয়...নদীতে তো নয়ই...

I wake up from my dreams

And start walking...
Walk a mile and a mile more…
Through a thousand rooms and a few more…
Then I face a closed door.
In search of a key..
Through dense mist I try to see…
But all in a sudden
The door gets open.
And then I saw a country road
Half a mile apart.
Up above the dark sky
The moon hides in clouds like feeling shy.
Through the country road I keep going
Breeze from the south keeps blowing.
Then I reach a sea shore
But still I keep walking more.
I reach the water and then I try
To wash away my sorrow, pain and cry.
As time keeps passing by
A new me out of me
Comes out and keeps walking by...
